HOW LONG DOES EACH THERAPY SESSION TAKE?

Each session is 50 minutes.

WHAT IS EMDR THERAPY?

EMDR stands for eye movement desensitization and reprogramming. It is clinically proven to be effective in treating trauma. It requires specialized training above and beyond the Master's program. I've finished my level two training and working towards the two year Certification process. I'm also level two trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy.

Do you offer services in-person or via Telehealth?

I offer both! I'm based in Gig Harbor, WA and hold office hours at Compassion Wellness Center, and also can offer telehealth in the state of Washington.

What payments do I accept?

Payment for services are due at the time of the appointment and may be paid via cash, check, or credit card.

I will send you a superbill (statement) at the end of each month for you to remit to your insurance company that will include all applicable codes, any monies paid, and the dates of services rendered. It will be up to you to determine if you will receive reimbursement.

Initial Intake Session: $185
Individual Psychotherapy, including EMDR: $135
Couples or Family session: $175

Cancellations within 24-hours of the session time will be charged the full session fee.

What is my educational background?

I graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.

I did my Master's program through North Central University for Marriage and Family Therapy.

I attended my clinicals at Connection Therapy Center in Gig Harbor for 450 direct client hours.

My EMDR training, supervision and now ongoing certification training is through EMDRIA certified trainer, Rebecca Kase.

My Emotionally Focused Therapy training was through ICEEF, the most recognized training developed by Sue Johnson.

I am also certified with my YTT200 and am SUP Yoga certified.
